In partnership with Southeastern University, Rock City Church hosts an instructional site to offer students affordable degree programs in a Jesus-centered environment, while gaining hands-on leadership and ministry experience.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Rock City College offers both traditional and evening program options. The traditional program is available to students ages 18-24. It is a two-year full-time student experience that allows for part-time external employment.

The evening program is available to students ages 25 and up. The duration of the program is determined by the degree selected and is a part-time experience that allows for full-time external employment. 

TUITION: $8,136

This is based on 15 credits per semester for 2 semesters with the practicum scholarship applied. Tuition is charged per credit hour and covers the cost of classes only; books and fees are additional. Masters’ program tuition rates vary. 

SITE FEE: $2,500

The site fee is the administrative fee for operating as an extension site of SEU. The fee covers expenses related to student development, classroom facilities, operational expenses, staffing, student experience, etc. This is charged at a flat rate per semester. The annual fee (two semesters) is listed.

TECHNOLOGY FEE: $350

The technology fee covers the cost of facilitating online classes. This is a flat rate paid per year.

2022-2023 ACADEMIC YEAR TOTAL: $10,986

Students at SEU extension sites and regional campuses may be eligible for federal financial aid, including grants and loans. Financial aid is provided primarily to cover tuition and fee costs charged by Southeastern University. However, it may also be used to cover additional program expenses included in your Cost of Attendance (COA) such as books, supplies, transportation, and living expenses. You must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to see what you may qualify for. The FAFSA can be completed on www.fafsa.ed.gov and can be completed at any time during the application process.

SEU’s Florida-based academic scholarships are not available to extension site students.

Southeastern University is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award associate, baccalaureate, master's and doctorate degrees. Rock City College is not accredited by SACS Commission on Colleges and the accreditation of Southeastern University does not extend to or include Rock City College or its students. Students must be admitted by Southeastern University and enrolled in university courses to receive the benefits of regional accreditation.
