Biblical and Theological Studies

The Biblical & Theological Studies program is designed for ministry-minded leaders to become biblically literate and theologically sound, expanding their understanding of the Bible and foundational Christian doctrines.

In this eight-class (two-year) program, students develop a Christian worldview, explore God’s mission throughout Scripture, and learn methods for dependable scripture interpretation and application.

Biblical & Theological Studies students leave equipped to minister to others through God’s Word.

The Christian Leadership program is a transformative eight-class (two-year) program designed to strengthen your leadership through a biblical foundation and worldview.

You will develop the knowledge and skills to lead with purpose and integrity, applying biblical principles across every area of life and influencing others within and beyond your sphere of influence.

This program is ideal for those who feel called to ministry, as well as business leaders, non-profit leaders, coaches, and anyone who desires to grow in their leadership and make an eternal impact.

Q & A

Classes will be held in person on Tuesday evenings at Rock City Polaris. The Fall 2026 semester will begin on Tuesday, August 25, 2026. Each class will run eight weeks in length (2 per semester), and students may choose to enroll at the beginning of any class. Future locations may be considered based on enrollment.
Rock City Pastors and Executive Leaders will be facilitating each class, and we are honored to provide Highlands College Leadership Institute curriculum and instruction for both program tracks.
No. Childcare will not be provided during Rock City Leadership Academy classes.
Yes. Rock City Grand Lake will be offering Rock City Leadership Academy at your location.
Classes will be held back-to-back on Tuesday evenings at Rock City Polaris or at Rock City Grand Lake to allow students to participate in one or both programs. Please note that if you choose to do both tracks, applications must be filled out for each.

In order to provide the best experience, we are excited to offer Highlands College Leadership
Institute (HCLI) curriculum for both of our current tracks. The base tuition for this is set by HCLI.

Tuition is $250 per class.

Biblical and Theological Studies is an 8-class program (two years).
Christian Leadership is an 8-class program (two years).

Yes, there is a $50 per class scholarship for all active volunteer team leaders and all actively
engaged volunteers aged 18-25.

 

In order to provide the best experience, we are excited to offer Highlands College Leadership Institute (HCLI) curriculum for both of our current tracks. When you click APPLY NOW, you’ll be taken to the Highlands College application page to complete your registration. During the application process, please select “Rock City – Hilliard” as your church. Rock City Leadership Academy classes will continue to be hosted at our Polaris and Grand Lake locations. If you would like to enroll in both tracks, you will need to complete a separate application for each track.
